Let See How Many Presents Have My Name On Them!!!

Mommy could not put up the big tree because she was afraid I would destroy it so she bought a table top tree. She thought I couldn't reach it but I just wanted to see how many presents had my name on them.

Delish

Everything looked so good I just couldn't decide what to eat, so I had a little of everything. Thanks Daddy!!

Santa Paws is Coming to Town

My New Excape Proof Crate

My mommy bought me a puppy play yard to keep me safe when I am home alone. Well, being the adventurous puppy that I am I learned to jump over the top and roam about the house. This is not a good thing for such a young puppy as myself to do. I tried to eat some things that are not for puppy consumption, and I became very sick. So mommy bought me a new crate to keep me contained. Wouldn't you know that this one has a top so I can't get out. Where are my doggie friends? Can you help me with the lock so I can roam free in the house? But don't tell mommie. I would have to get back in before she comes home. This will be our little secret. Shhhhhhh!!

First Trip in the Truck

My daddy took me to my visit to the vet. This is a picture of me on the way to the vet. This is my new look. I can change my facial expressions. The first picture is of my serious look, the second picture is my suave and debonair look. I refused to let my picture be taken afterwards. What a humiliating experience!!! Nothing is sacred!!! Anywho, look at my ears they are standing straight up. This is 12 pounds of Shiba Inu coming at you. Whoopie!!!!!!!

Hi Cousin

On my weekly trip to Petsmart I saw an Akita. In case you did not know I am a direct descendant of the Akita. In Japan after WWII, the Akita was bred with the smaller Jindo dog and that is how my breed came about. Well I met Keona, she is 14 months old, we played and she kissed me, I was kind of scared because she was so big, I thought she might squish me. That wouldn't be pretty.

Jazzy B is home

Here is my sister Jazzy B. She is a math major in college and she is minoring in Spanish. Can you say comida? That means food my favorite word in any language. She came home to spend time with the family this weekend. I just love my sister. I really love the way her hair tastes, it's all fruity smelling. YUM!

Happy Birthday to Me!!!

I am three months old today. My sissy Jazzy B. bought me a new sweater so I won't get cold when I go for walks. She selected a green one because she says green looks good on red heads. You be the judge.

What Is This Thing Called Ice

Being new to the world and all I am discovering new thing in life. This clear, cold thing is causing me grief. Mommy took it out the door of the big black thing in the room where food comes from. I saw her put it in a cup and then pour some type of liquid called tea in the cup. I was fascinated by this little thing so mommy gave it to me. I tried to bite it but it kept sliding away from me and it was cold and wet. You know how I feel about being wet. I played with it for a while then it started to get smaller and smaller and the next thing I knew there was a puddle of water. So I left to find something more interesting to play with.

My Sissy Jazzy B.

This is my sister Jazzy B. She doesn't live at home with me she is in college, so I only see her on weekends and holidays. She is a math major, maybe she will teach me to add and subtract. Mommy says I cannot go to college, what a bummer. Anywho Jazzy B. came home for Thanksgiving. While she was home she kept picking me up, well I am very particular about who pick me up especially after going to the vet the day before. She kept picking me up and I would scream and nip at her. Then when I was walking she almost squished me, I nipped at her again. She is not used to having such a little person around the house. I told her I was going to write about her in my blog, because she upset me. I really do love my sissy and I wish she would come home more often to play with me and give me a tummy rub.

My Safe Place

Today I went to the vet for my second booster shot. When I came home I was not feeling well and I did not want anyone to bother me so I retreated to my new safe place, under the table on the patio. I stayed there for most of the day until I felt better and wanted to socialize with my family. But guess what? I have to go back in 3 weeks, this puppy business is really no fun.

Napping with Daddy

Daddy was tired. He works very hard all day, so when he decided to take a nap, I decided to take one with him. I wasn't as sleepy as my daddy, so I played with his ear until I got tired.

While my mommy wasn't looking I was printing pictures of things I want in my stocking from Santa.

My Favorite Places

One of my favorite places to take a nap is under the futon in the family room. I can sleep in peace and my brother can't fit under there to pull me out.

Everything the Light Touches is Mine

I was watching the Lion King with my human brother and in the movie the monkey told Symba that everything the light touches is his. I decided that everything the light touches in my yard is mine. Afterward being a Shiba Inu means that everything is mine anyway, I just allow my family to share with me from time to time.

The Sprinklers Got Me!!

I never saw it coming, I was just sitting in my yard playing with my ball then all of a sudden, this intruder popped up out of the grass and started getting me wet. First, I hit it with my paw, thinking it would submit and go back underground. This did not work. Next, I tried to use my most ferocious bark and growl, but that did not work either. Lastly, I tried to bite it, but it only called it's friends and the whole yard was getting wet. So I gave a good fight, but I still got wet. I really hate getting wet!

Hey! I'm sleeping here

Can't a puppy get any privacy. I was sleeping when my mommy thought I was adorable and started snapping pictures.

Everyone needs a rock

At first I was afraid of the rocks in my backyard. I stalked them, barked at them, but then I investigated them further and found that they were scardey cats and would cower to my very existence. So I conquered the rocks in my yard. I sit upon them and look out over the yard to find new thing (i.e. worms, leaves, birds) to play with and explore. Everybody needs a rock. Not just any rock. I mean a special rock that you find yourself and keep as long as you can maybe forever.

This is my crate!

My mommy and daddy bought me a new crate to sleep in at night. I do not like to be confined, so I just sleep with my head outside. I am really good about not going potty in the house, I let everyone know when I have to go. As I am more comfortable with my surroundings I probably won't mind being inside. TTFN
